Tessa Hart is an actress, director and producer as well as the Artistic Director of The Bread & Roses Theatre and Goblin Baby Theatre Co. She holds an MFA in Acting (International) from East 15 Acting School and a BA in Theatre Studies from the Free University of Berlin. She has completed further performing arts work and studies in Bali, London, Berlin, Brussels and Moscow and is fluent, as well as having worked, in English, German and French.
As an actress Tessa has appeared in theatre, independent feature films, short films, TV- series and various other screen projects. As a director and producer she has worked across fringe theatre venues in London; having most recently produced the UNHEARD Festival (exlporing themes around sexual abuse and violence through performance) and directed a new adaptation of Miss Julie as well as a benefit production of The Vagina Monologues and a variety of short plays.
For the Theatre Night on Friday 31st of July at Clear Lines, Tessa will be co-curating a selection of short plays and monologues from the sold-out 2015 edition of the UNHEARD Festival, and directing two of them.
