Rhama Hussein

Rahma Hussein

Rahma Hussein is a student at King’s College London reading History. She is also a speaker and activist, campaigning on issues relating to intersectional feminism, disability rights, women’s rights, migrant rights, religious freedoms and socialism. She has been elected as the Vice-President for Activities and Development for King’s College London Students’ Union (KCLSU) for 2017/18. She is also the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of I RISE Magazine, a women of colour & non-binary people of colour online creative platform. She has also been featured on the mainstream press – including Sky News and BBC 100 Women in 2016. In her free time she enjoys learning languages, travelling and dreaming of a world ruled by self-defining women.
