Rebecca Robinson is currently studying an MA degree in Advanced Theatre Practice at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has devised work with theatre company Sub-Sublime, which was presented at Camden People’s Theatre in the Sprint Festival. She is primarily a playwright and performer, but has also studied acting at Rose Bruford College. Last year she was shortlisted, among twenty-five writers, for the Theatre503 Playwrights Award and she is an alumni of the Royal Court Writers Programme. Her work has been performed in London at The Tricycle, Horse and Stables Theatre, The Bugaloo, Bridewell Theatre, Take Courage Theatre and a monologue from her first play was performed as part of the opening of the Bread and Roses Theatre, where it went on to premier as a full-length reading. Her work has also toured to other major cities in the UK, including Bristol, Manchester and Lincoln.
At Clear Lines, extracts from her play ‘Doe’ will be performed on our Theatre Night, on Friday 31st of July.
