Denmark born, Sweden raised by Somali parents, Ayaan is the founder of the Street Art Agency, Proprietor of Affordably Affordable Street Art Boutique and organiser of Femme Fierce – the world’s largest all female Graffiti Street Art Festival – dedicated to celebrate the women that create art in studios, brighten up high street shop shutters, scale roof tops and enter abandoned buildings to add colour to the drab walls that make up our cityscape for the love of the covert and secretive world of street art and graffiti.

On International Women’s Day this year, Femme Fierce supported Plan UK’s “Because I am a Girl” campaign by taking over London’s Leake Street tunnel. This initiative helped raise money and awareness for Plan UK’s girls’ right projects, aiming to help end violence against girls, including Female Genital Mutilation and child marriage.

Ayaan will be speaking on the Arts and Activism panel on Thursday 30th of July.
